Senior Software Engineer · Distributed systems, AI engineering & observability · PhD researcher
Software engineer with 5+ years of commercial experience building microservice SaaS platforms end to end, from back-end services, data stores and messaging to Vue front ends. Recent focus: LLM agents and AI services in production, shared SDKs and platform-wide OpenTelemetry observability. PhD researcher at Zhytomyr Polytechnic on telemetry-based analysis of business flows in microservices (8 publications, 4 in Scopus); teaches university software engineering courses.

Senior Software Engineer & Consultant
Self-employed (independent entrepreneur) · Remote · long-term engagements with product companies
- 500+ merged pull requests across 70+ repositories of an AI-powered e-learning SaaS: TypeScript/NestJS and C#/.NET microservices, Vue micro-frontends, MongoDB/DocumentDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ/BullMQ, AWS.
- Built the course-authoring AI agent and AI services: multi-provider LLM SDK (OpenAI, Mistral, AWS Bedrock, ElevenLabs TTS), real-time agent edits over WebSocket/SignalR, prompt management, phased evaluations with LLM judges and self-correcting guardrails.
- Maintain the shared service SDK (telemetry, logging, auth, messaging, AI) and rolled out OpenTelemetry tracing and metrics to 30+ services, with Langfuse and Grafana for AI and service observability.
- Delivered product features end to end: permissions and feature-access model, course import/export and auto-translation, SCORM/xAPI/LTI and SAML integrations, email flows, data migrations, performance fixes.
- R&D on an AI knowledge-curation product: hybrid retrieval and RAG search, source-aware routing, conflict detection, evaluation harness.
- Designed a Go REST back end, auth service and TypeScript front end for a device and indicator monitoring system.
